    Performance fees of dancers and choreography fees of choreographers are supported.

    • Dancers’ Job Market Audition

      Dance companies planning pure dance art performance and dancers who desire to get their participation are brought together, creating opportunities for dancers to work together with competent dance companies.

      After open audition, performance fees of dancers selected by participating dance companies are partially subsidized.

    • Dance Connection 1&7

      Ahead of pure dance art performance, choreographers are given choreography fees, and performance fees of dancers are subsidized to grow the competence of creation and to create an environment where they can stably continue on with their art pieces, fostering the growth of dance artists.

  • Injury Rehabilitations & Prevention Financial support

    When dance artists are injured, hospital and rehabilitation expenses are supported. To prevent injury trainers are provided, and preventive checkups against injury are supported for dancers.

    • Financial support for Injury prevention

      When dance artists are injured during practice or while performing on the stage, hospital and rehabilitation expenses are supported.

    • Proactive Injury Prevention

      To proactively prevent the injury of dance artists, rehabilitation trainers are dispatched to dance companies during their performance practices for training and counseling on injury prevention.

    • Injury Prevention Checkup

      Specialized checkups for dancers are supported to prevent potential injuries.

  • Career Transition

    For dance artists who are difficult to continue dancing and looking for other jobs, career transition is supported.

    • Support for Training expenses

      Training expenses incurred when dance artists go through career transition are supported to ensure smooth career transition and to offer practical opportunities to switch jobs.

      For career development that draws on dancing skills, theoretical and hands-on training is provided as well as knowledge and information needed for career transition.

      • Working-level Creative Talent Training Program

        Art administration theory and job performance improvement training is provided. Those who graduate the training program are dispatched to culture & arts institutions and dance companies to build their administrative experience and to seek their job opportunities as performance event planners.

      • KINESIO TAPING International Certification Workshop

        Job performance on Kinesio Taping is strengthened to seek career transition into various fields.

      • Dance Rehabilitation Training Program

        A basic training course for dance rehabilitation trainer has been developed for dance artists planning to build their career as a dance rehabilitation trainer. Relevant training expenses are supported for dance artists who seek such a career transition.

        Dance Education Program for Parkinson's Patients

        As an international dance education program aiming to change body, mind and life of Parkinson's disease patients with dance, the Dance for PD program produces expert instructors.

      • Dance for Dementia

        : Dance Education Program for Patients with Dementia

        Instructor training program for professional dancers planning a new career. New jobs are expected to be created through the program for dancers who prepare for a second career through their contribution to greater quality of life for dementia patients and their families.

      • Dance Audio Descriptor Training Program

        Dance Audio Descriptor training program that explains dance in speech-language to increase accessibility for visually impaired people to watch performances and create jobs for dancers is provided.

      Through step-by-step training and customized consulting with professional consultants, we share and seek concerns about the career of dance artists by providing time to devise specific self-analysis and career plans.

  • Dance for PD & Dementia
    • Dance for PD Program

      Developed by Mark Morris Dance Group in 2001 for Parkinson's disease patients, Dancd for PD Program provides expert teachers for Parkinson's disease patients healing them with dance.

    • Dance for Dementia Program

      The DCDC has introduced Dance for Dementia Instructor Training Program for the first time in Korea to improve health and level of happiness for dementia patients through dance. Through the program, classes are provided to improve patients’ quality of life and to prevent disabilities from dementia.

    • Instructors Dispatched to Public Dementia Centers

      Since 2018, the DCDC dispatched trained Dance for Dementia instructors to public dementia centers nationwide for dementia patients, including 25 Districts in Seoul and 256 Dementia Centers nationwide.
